Was it more of a Push or Pull Factor? Can you elaborate a little?
Definitely a Pull factor cause at that point of time the job market is not good and the income projected by insurance is relatively good.
How long have you been in insurance Business?
Since 2009.
What was the biggest fear before joining the biz? How did you overcome it?
To approach friends and relatives to “sell” them insurance. Over the years, I have learn to let it go, if it’s not meant to be yours, don’t force it. Do what I think is meant right for the client.
In your own opinion, what are the key attributes of your success?
Staying long enough in the industry and being informative to the clients.
What are some of the awards you have achieved?
Biggest is definitely MDRT in 2019. Have also received a few years of Pinnacle Awards.

What are the key challenges when you first join? How did you cope & overcome it?
My key challenges will be my market and support from my family. Being a freshly graduate, most of my peers start out almost same time as me, thus unable for me to tap into them. Eventually, after I struggle for half a year, many of them started getting policies from me. Also, many of them started referring their partners and friends to me.
Another challenge is also support from my family. Initially they didn’t like the idea of me in this industry as I am a graduate in marketing. Subsequently, this was slowly overcome after they seen my result in this industry.
